Upon inserting a brand-new firestick for initial setup, please ensure that only one firestick remote is in the room or if there are multiple remotes in the room, take the batteries out of the remotes not being used until you set up the new firestick. When multiple active remotes are near the firestick, it confuses the programming and prevents it from successfully pairing with the correct remote.
